AGENT GOOD, INSURANCE COMPANY BAD!
This is a hard review to write because the truth is, the agent Tony Marciano is a good guy. He always returns calls and truly tries to support his clients. Stamford, CT was hit with a series of terrible storms, including Hurricane Sandy and I know Tony was inundated with calls of desperation from most of his clients...we were hit that bad.
He was very busy but I always and I mean always felt he was trying to help me with my claims. I would give him 4.5 stars and Allstate 1! Allstate, as an insurance company stinks...no nice way to say it...they just do. I always felt like I was begging for support and for them to please pay me for my loss...come on guys... it was a hurricane!
But even a hurricane can't convince this company it's a good idea to pay on claims. They ALWAYS deny first then when you escalate, and prove that their decision is ridiculous...then and only then they reconsider and you end up thanking them for something they should have done in the first place...approve the claim!!!
Just a shady way of dealing with people that have suffered loss. I do realize some people take advantage but my God guys.... it was a hurricane!
I also had a car claim in which our adjuster NEVER called us to get our side...just ruled in favor of the other person. To weird...then weeks went by and I finally got a hold of her and when I did...she was annoyed with me for asking why...again...this company really isn't professional or supportive of its clients. They may offer good rates but buyer beware....that only means they won't pay you without a fight so if your in the mood to fight...have at it.
I feel bad for Tony working here because he is a classy guy who cares about his people backed by a bad company. I wish him well.
