I've been visiting the Shire since they first opened, and the food has always been absurdly delicious, homemade, and well portioned. If I had one complaint, it would be how greasy the food was--However, as of the past month or so they have gone above and beyond to listen to their customers and I've seen a huge reduction in grease without a reduction in quality. Come here for breakfast or lunch; you won't be disappointed with either.
The staff is friendly and makes you feel like you're at home, and the atmosphere is very quaint. I highly suggest following them on Facebook to see their daily specials so you know when they're serving their broccoli cheddar soup; it is some of the best I have ever had.
