THE SLOPPY WAFFLE LLC

Most of the reviews that are negative seem to be going in with the wrong expectations. I could sum the complaints as something new like be this is not IHOP. If you need are looking to go in and get a huge stack of waffles and pour corn syrup water over them, this is not your place. If you want a really well made waffle with interesting topping and a well balanced amount of real maple syrup, come here. The chicken and waffles is excellent and I highly recommend it. The price was great as well. My wife and I ordered the most expensive things on the menu and I walked out satisfied and feeling like I didn't spend much ( under $30 I believe) and we were stuffed. The place is kitschy and has a certain charm. It's in ab old house so the different dining areas are just rooms of the house, which adds to the odd ball feel. This is no 5 star dinning experience, so again if you are expecting a refined experience, then you are in the wrong b place. The staff are great v though. They are friendly and genuine. The food is the star here. It is a great place to have breakfast as long as you want what this place offers.
