Tavern 1757

Two strikes. I went last week with a $50 gift certificate. Food was great. Drinks were even better. When I went to pay the bill, they declined my gift certificate by telling me that it was from a previous owner that continued to sell them after the business changed owners. Now tonight I left my job is Trumbull to come here to have a good drink or two after reading online that they would be open til 2:30 am for new years. After sitting at the bar,instead of being greeted with "what would you like to drink" I got "were closed, this is for employees only". They should have posted that online
