I bought a curtain rod at the Manchester store which I immediately returned because it was defective. Customer Service desk was chained off, so I got in one of two rather long cashier lines. Customer Service opened, but I wasn't able to get to it because it was now cashing out customers as a third line formed. I waited in the line I was in for at least another 10 minutes only to be told I had to go to Customer Service for a refund. So, why was Customer Service chained off if can function as a cashier register when the store is crowded - and the store was crowded! I wasted close to an hour's time total on the visit only to leave empty-handed. The Wethersfield store has a dedicated Customer Service desk, with signs, that also functions as a register and makes life much simpler.
